When you use our forms (quote wizard, contact form, chat) we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, a description of the job, photos you choose to upload, and your preferred contact method. We do not collect anything else.

To respond to your enquiry, produce a written quote, carry out and guarantee the work you ask for, and keep records we are legally required to keep. The lawful bases are the performance of a contract you ask us to enter, and our legitimate interest in running our business. If you agree to our Terms, you consent to our processing as described there.

Enquiry data is kept while your enquiry is live. Customer and job records are kept for the duration of our working relationship and for up to six years afterwards, as required for tax and legal purposes. Quotes, invoices and certificates are retained for the same period.

Only what is needed to do our job: our hosting provider (the servers this website runs on), our email provider (to send confirmations), and our error-monitoring service (Sentry), which we configure not to capture form contents. We never sell your data and we do not use it for marketing unless you separately opt in.

You have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Email support@maintenancehandy.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We set only the cookies described in our cookie policy: strictly necessary ones for the site and chat to work, and analytics/advertising cookies only if you accept them in the banner. See the cookie policy for the full list.

All traffic to this site is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to customer records is limited to staff who need it, behind password-protected accounts.
