About this job
A heavy fitting on a plasterboard ceiling needs proper fixings into joists, and older wiring colours need identifying correctly — both are routine for us. We'll check the ceiling can take the weight, fit a suitable hook or bracket, wire the fitting safely and set the drop height with you before we fix it off. Dimmer compatibility is checked so you don't get flicker or buzzing.
