Pruning at the wrong time costs you a season of flowers or invites disease — every species has its window. We prune for the plant's health and natural shape rather than shearing everything into balls, remove dead and crossing wood, and take larger reductions in stages so plants recover. Fruit trees, roses, climbers and ornamental shrubs all covered.
